摘要
C2-symmetric 4,8-substituted bicyclo[3.3.1]nona-2,6-dienes are efficient bidentate steering ligands for the rhodium-catalyzed asymmetric conjugate addition of arylboronic acids to N-Cbz-2,3-dihydro-4-pyridone. The arylation reactions proceed under mild conditions to provide corresponding 2-aryl-4-piperidones in high yields along with excellent enantioselectivities (up to 99.8:0.2 er).
