摘要：
Within the framework of cultural analysis, this article analizes the visuality of the novel El d & iacute;a de la mudanza by Pedro Badr & aacute;n (2001) through concepts such as focalization, framing, figuration, preposterous history, among others proposed by Mieke Bal throughout of her academic and artistic career within the interdisciplinary configuration of visual analy- sis. Due to the fact that the novel is largely built on the ekphrasis of the photographic album of the lead family, delves into on heterochrony and the image in the construction of the subject in the contemporary society, vindicating the narrative impact of description in the art of the novel.
