摘要
Super-resolution (SR) techniques compose a class of image restoration algorithms whose purpose is to increase the spatial resolution of scenes captured by digital cameras. The combination of SR with the promising Optical Camera Communications (OCC) technology presents great potential for improving both data and visual reception. This paper demonstrates that SR reconstruction can be achieved in OCC systems with a modified version of the recently proposed OCC-ALS tensor-based receiver. This paper shows that SR reconstruction can be beneficial both for the Symbol Error Rate (SER) performance of OCC systems and for improving the visual quality of the OCC-encoded video when blurring and decimation are present. The validation of the results of this paper is done by computational simulations and by a laptopsmartphone experimental testbed.
