摘要
Researchers prepared a series of waterborne epoxy resin (WEP) emulsions and investigated the effects of the molar ratio of ethanolamine and polyether amine on coating properties. The structure and molecular weight of modified epoxy resins (MEP) were characterized by proton nuclear magnetic resonance and gel permeation chromatography. A dynamic light-scattering particle size analyzer was used to study the particle size of WEP emulsions. When we studied the properties of coatings, the results showed that WEP-19:1 had small particle sizes and the best comprehensive properties. The salt spray resistance time was more than 480 h, which indicated that the coating had effective corrosion resistance. © 2024 NACE International. All rights reserved.
