摘要
Metal halide double perovskites (DPs) exhibit tunable band gaps and excellent environmental stability, making them widely applicable in many fields such as solar cells, anti-counterfeiting, and light-emitting diodes. However, traditional DPs have consistently faced challenges in terms of luminescence modulation and high photoluminescence quantum yields. Rare-earth based DPs, known for excellent photophysical properties and the rich energy levels of rare-earth ions, offer significant potential to address these challenges. DPs By doping in rare-earth based DPs, it is possible to achieve controlable luminescence, enhanced luminescence efficiency, and multi-mode emission, etc. This Review summarizes recent developments in the synthetic methods, photophysical properties, multifunctional applications, and existing issues of further development and applications DPs.
