Interturn Short-Circuit Fault Diagnosis and Fault-Tolerant Control of DTP-PMSM Based on Subspace Current Residuals

摘要
This article proposes an integrated method for interturn short-circuit (ITSC) fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant (FT) control of dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motors based on x-y subspace current residuals. In this method, the ITSC fault is diagnosed by the fault indicators extracted from the x-y subspace current residuals. The current injection-based FT control is studied to reduce the torque ripple due to the ITSC fault, where the injected currents are directly calculated from the x-y subspace current residuals without the requirement of the specific values of short-circuit turn ratio and fault current. Based on the x-y subspace current residuals, both the ITSC fault diagnosis and FT control can be achieved and are organically integrated. The simulation and experiment are studied to validate the proposed method. Both the results verify the effectiveness of the proposed ITSC fault diagnosis method.
