摘要：

The objective of this study is to analyze the main causes of population movements in Colombia as a consequence of environmental factors, especially climate change, in order to discern a distinction not only conceptual, but also methodological between two categories of population movement: forced migration and forced displacement. In this way, the following specific objectives will be met: (1) examine the agreement between the causal factors that temporarily configure the phenomena of migration and forced displacement and (2) elucidate if all forced displacement is hidden in a migratory event.
