Working Group 5 (WG5) of the 2024 Advanced Accelerator Concepts (AAC24) Workshop focused on the latest developments in beam generation, monitoring, and control, as well as identifying key challenges that must be addressed to advance the field further. This summary provides an overview of the contributions presented during the WG5 sessions, along with a brief analysis of emerging trends and directions for future advancements in the field.
