摘要
This study provides comprehensive evidence for the association between PCOS and CVD by using UK Biobank data. Patients with PCOS, especially young nonobese patients, have an increased risk of CVD, and this vulnerable population should receive increased attention in the future. Clarifying this condition specific to female which can increase CVD risk is warranted to inform gender-related prevention and management of CVD. We need to further improve CVD risk management in the females with PCOS, and DCBLD2 can be potentially used as a CVD biomarker for patients with PCOS.
