摘要
Touting the tech no log i cal fix for envi ron men tal cri ses over looks the role of soci ety, his tory, cul ture, pro duction, and geography. Anthropocene, presuming all civilizations as ecologically destructive, ignores the histor i cal, social, and cul tural dif fer ences in humannature rela tions. The con trib u tors of this issue mount a humanis tic critique of structural inequalities, alienating social relations, and environmental injustice in environmental cri ses while articulating cul tural and reli gious leg a cies in humannature rela tions.
