RISK MANAGEMENT IN HOSPITAL ENVIRONMENTS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF RESILIENT SYSTEMS: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE

摘要
Risk management, safety management, and resilient systems are fundamental elements in healthcare to ensure the safety of patients, healthcare professionals, and the effectiveness of services provided. Resilient systems are designed to withstand and adapt to disruptions and adverse events, maintaining the continuity of essential services. In healthcare, this means that healthcare systems must be able to deal with crises, such as natural disasters, epidemics, public health emergencies, among others. In this sense, resilience includes the ability to respond quickly, efficient coordination, effective communication, and the ability to recover after an adverse event. In view of this, the present study sought to understand how resilience has been incorporated into risk management in hospital settings through a systematic literature review. The results indicated the importance of establishing a safety culture, promoting risk awareness, training and developing healthcare professionals, using appropriate technologies to monitor and mitigate risks, and conducting assessments on an ongoing basis to identify areas for improvement.
