摘要
In this study, designs for original conformal phased-array antenna (PAA) arrays for a cube-shaped satellite are investigated with the aim of transferring data from a remote sensing (RS) satellite to a satellite in geostationary earth orbit (GSO). A new design algorithm is proposed by conducting line-of-sight analysis to achieve maximum directivity, minimum side lobe, and minimum half power beamwidth (HPBW) with a fixed number of antenna elements. Hence, the communication duration between the RS satellite and the GSO satellite has been increased by placing conformal arrays at the corners of the satellite platform instead of a single surface and the impact of the distance between antenna elements and layers on performance parameters is examined in these conformal arrays.
