摘要
Digital health applications (DiGAs) are CE-certified digital medical devices that support the treatment of patients. These include apps, but also browser-based applications. All DiGAs listed in the DiGA directory are reimbursed by German public health insurance providers and have successfully passed the assessment procedure of the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices. There is as yet no standardized regulation for privately insured persons. During the approval process, information on the product characteristics, data security, and the positive effect on care to be demonstrated by the manufacturer are examined. A DiGA is prescribed on the drug prescription (sample 16) and is usually prescribed for 90 days. Because even the best DiGA is useless without the cooperation of the medical professionals, experience with DiGAs is essential.
