摘要
A type of cavity patch antenna combined with wide-angle impedance matching (WAIM) method is proposed for Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) Radar. The antenna has wideband, wide-beam characteristics combined with a wide-angle impedance matching method that allows the antenna to scan wide angles while still ensuring active return loss and gain reduction. The simulated results show an active return loss less than -10 dB and gain fluctuation less than 3 dB when steering the beam up to 45 degrees in E plane and 50 degrees in H plane, no grating lobe appears in the entire operating frequency range.
