Exploring Magnon-Magnon Coupling, Spin Hall Magnetoresistance, and Laser-Driven Spin Textures in 2D van der Waals Magnets

摘要
We have demonstrated ultrastrong magnon-magnon coupling in the gigahertz (GHz) band in a two-dimensional (2D) van der Waals (vdW) antiferromagnet, achieving a maximum normalized coupling strength of 0.5. Our investigation revealed that the coupling strength can be tuned by temperature and by magneto-crystalline anisotropy. Additionally, we presented spin Hall magnetoresistance in a 2D vdW antiferromagnetic-based device, illustrating the potential to exfoliate 2D antiferromagnets into thin layers and manipulate their magnetization through spin currents. Finally, we showed that laser excitation can generate different type of spin textures at room temperature and zero-field in a 2D vdW ferromagnet. These findings provide an ideal platform for development of magnonic quantum and spintronics devices based on 2D magnets.
