摘要
In this study, anew finite-difference-based ghost-point immersed boundary method (IBM) is developed for the simulation of compressible flows with stationary or moving bodies. A third-order accurate extrapolation scheme is used to obtain the ghost-point values, and the IB method with this extrapolation scheme is shown to be more accurate than that with the conventional linear extrapolation. For the moving-boundary problem, anew approach is proposed to handle the density boundary condition on the immersed boundary (IB). In addition, a new ghost-point IBM is proposed for solving the fluid-solid conjugate heat transfer problem. The proposed ghost-point IBM for the adiabatic boundary condition on the immersed boundary is validated via the compressible flow over an stationary or moving cylinder and sphere, respectively. The method for the fluid-solid conjugate heat transfer is validated with the compressible flow over a hot cylinder.
