摘要
Biodegradable polymers have emerged as exceptional materials, prized for their commendable biocompatibility and degradable characteristics. These properties make them particularly well-suited for advancing drug delivery systems, mitigating toxicity concerns, and enhancing therapeutic efficacy. In recent years, these polymers have garnered substantial attention in the realm of obstetrics and gynecology, where they are employed in the treatment of gynecologic tumors, thereby revolutionizing the approach to managing various diseases in this field. This paper offers a comprehensive review of recent breakthroughs in the application of biodegradable polymers in obstetrics and gynecology, encompassing their utilization in medical devices, controlled drug release systems, and tissue engineering. The insights provided serve as a valuable reference, encouraging further research to unlock the full potential of biodegradable polymers in advancing the landscape of obstetrics and gynecology.
