Volvopluteus deliciosus sp. nov. (Pluteaceae, Agaricales), a new edible species from Xinjiang, China

摘要
A new fungal species, Volvopluteus deliciosus, was discovered in Bayingol Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China. Locally, it is regarded as a delicious edible mushroom. It is formally introduced with detailed morphological description and illustration. Morphological comparison to similar species indicated that it is a distinctive taxon within Volvopluteus. Molecular phylogenetic analyses based on nrITS sequences also confirmed the taxonomic status of the new species.
