摘要
This paper was aimed to examine the use of graphic organizers to improve STEM learners' information literacy. The sampling group consisted of two groups of students (engineering and veterinary nursing) in one English course at a private university in Thailand. In each class, students read and drew a graphic organizer after they read a text. Then, they did activities based on their graphic organizers. They also designed their own graphic organizer as their reading project. The findings showed that students found that graphic organizers were suitable and useful for their study with reading texts. However, students tended to rely on only a few types of graphic organizers, particularly flow chart and concept map, due to their convenience in relation to paragraphs of their reading passages.
