摘要
This study introduces a novel approach to enhance the efficiency of disaster relief management by focusing on the evaluation and installation of an Internet of Things (IoT) integrated with the smart rover. Current methods like drone-based surveillance systems or fixed sensor networks may encounter difficulties with scalability, real-time data transmission or restricted mobility in dynamic environments. The primary objective is to develop a rover capable of remote operation via live video transmission, regardless of location. The proposed approach implemented with a plethora of sensors, the rover will provide continuous monitoring of crucial environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and gas concentrations, among other variables. Stakeholders will have rapid access to information on the status of the environment via real-time data transmission and capture. The data will be displayed in a comprehensible manner with the incorporation of Blynk, an interface platform designed for ease of use, facilitating prompt decision-making in the case of potential environmental hazards or disasters. The objective of this project is to enhance situational awareness in disaster relief operations via the use of IoT technology. This study also enables the implementation of preventive measures and efficient allocation of resources. The proposed rover system can revolutionize disaster management methodologies and ultimately mitigate risks while ensuring the protection of people and assets in regions susceptible to natural calamities.
