With the popularization and application of internet and the deepening development of economic globalization, the cross-border E-commerce industry has developed rapidly, becoming a new engine for world economic growth. Cross border E-commerce not only reduces the cost of international trade transactions, but also shortens the geographical and cultural distance between countries. This article takes "Silk Road E-commerce" as the background, analyzes the current situation and problems of cross-border E-commerce between China and Germany, and proposes countermeasures and suggestions for the development of cross-border E-commerce between China and Germany. In the context of the "Silk Road E-commerce", especially in the face of the global public event of the COVID-19, we hope that the two countries can explore some new cross-border E-commerce cooperation models and paths to break through the current difficulties, which will certainly bring important reference value and practical significance to the good development prospects of economic and trade cooperation between China and Germany.
