摘要
With this research, the didactic value of Graphic Medicine is corroborated, that is, comics about physical and mental illness, also known as medical-health comics or graphic pathography. This current trend was introduced into the academic field of Medicine classrooms in the year 2000, within the studies of medical humanism. Later, in 2007, the British doctor Ian Williams coined the term and the Graphic Medicine research team. However, the medical-health comic has emerged since time immemorial, with origins in the 70's. With the present study, the strategies of Graphic Medicine as a teaching medium are analyzed through the review of articles dated between 2017-2023, by notable figures in this area, such as Lalanda or Gonzalez Cabeza. It training efficiency will be corroborated not only in Medicine classrooms, also highlighting it social work.
