摘要
Communication through the Human Body, based on the transmission of electromagnetic signals inside the body, offers a promising solution for wearable health body sensors. In this paper, we propose an experimental model including layers of adipose and muscle beef meat sample tissue to study the propagation behavior of different communication channels in the human tissue. More specifically, human body communication channels (HBCs) are studied at different frequencies (1.8 GHz and 10 GHz) using numerical simulations performed with the Finite Element Method (FEM). The results show that received power is higher in adipose channels compared to other channels, with muscle tissue predominating over fatty tissue. In addition, the power of different channels is related to channel length and communication frequency. The simulations are validated by experimental measurements carried out on a beef meat tissue sample, confirming the agreement between simulated and experimental results.
