摘要
The effect of hot deformation at 450 degrees C on the microstructure and mechanical properties of selective laser melted (SLMed) AlSi10Mg was evaluated. The results show that this alloy exhibited good hot deformation potential. At a deformation of 30 %, the alloy undergoes dynamic recrystallization (DRX) and the columnar grains gradually transform into equiaxed grains. As the the deformation increases from 30 % to 50 %, the average grain size decreases from 13.64 mu m to 9.43 mu m, and the eutectic Si near the grain boundary transforms into coarse Si particles. Despite the decrease in yield strength (YS) from 271.3 MPa to 141.4 MPa, the elongation increases from 8.6 % to 16.8 %, mainly due to the DRX and disappearance of eutectic Si structure.
