A Design of Polarization Reconfigurable 2-bit Transmitarray Element at Ku Band

摘要
In this paper, a 2-bit polarization reconfigurable transmitarray element is proposed. Under the condition of 2-bit phase reconfiguration, the reconfigurable function of two kinds of linear polarization and two kinds of circular polarization of the transmit wave can be realized with the linear polarization electromagnetic wave incidence. Phase reconfiguration and polarization reconfiguration is achieved by loading PIN diodes, in which the phase change only requires loading one PIN diode on the transmitting layer. At the frequency range of 15.9-17.0GHz, the transmission coefficients of the four polarization in four phase states are better than -2dB and the phase states show 2-bit reconfigurable distribution.
