摘要
Artificial intelligence (AI) can contribute to significant process improvements if the intended application and the requirements of the prospective user are already considered during the AI development process. Accordingly, this paper explores how the development of AI can be user- and application-orientated in order to develop beneficial AI solutions. Therefore, the idea of "Tools for Conviviality", which is often used in the context of human-centred technology concepts, is applied to the AI development process by deriving three guiding principles of a "Convivial AI" system from relevant literature sources and defining an AI process model based on them. This paper offers a new perspective on the development of AI solutions by emphasising elements that are rarely explicitly considered in existing AI process models but are necessary to promote user-centred AI development: application centricity, human-machine interaction and reduction of AI complexity.
