摘要
Peroxydicarbonate is a typical class of organic peroxide, and its production in the industry is currently dangerous and inefficient. The continuous synthesis of di-(2-ethylhexyl) peroxydicarbonate (EHP) using microreactor is expected to improve the efficiency and safety of this process. To achieve this, the batch study was first used to explore the EHP synthesis reaction and the side reaction of 2-ethylhexyl chloroformate hydrolysis. On this basis, preliminary studies and the determination of apparent reaction kinetics of EHP synthesis were conducted in the continuous-flow microreactor. It revealed the reaction characteristics and helped intensify the reaction process, thereby a microreaction-based novel process for efficient and safe EHP continuous synthesis was ultimately designed. This work was the first to systematically study the reaction characteristics and process intensification for peroxydicarbonates synthesis in a tubular microreactor, and it was also expected to be informative for understanding similar systems.
