摘要
This paper proposes an adaptive proportional integral (PI) controller based on maximum torque per Ampere (MTPA) control scheme for permanent magnet synchronous machines (PMSMs), addressing the limitations of assuming constant parameters in traditional methods. The conventional MTPA control strategy involves the assumption of constant parameters, which leads to suboptimal controller performance. This is because of the variation of the machine parameters due to magnetic saturation. In response, the study suggests considering a nonlinear PMSM model and updating controller parameters for each operating point. The proposed control scheme is demonstrated through a drive simulation. The results show that the adaptive PI controller remains stable including measurement noise and for saturated operation of the PMSM, where the inductances decrease up to 55%.
