摘要
People who have suffered anaphylaxis often suffer from far-reaching consequences in their everyday lives. Unfortunately, discharge management after successful acute treatment is often still inadequate. In order to prevent further reactions in the future and improve the quality of life of patients, a number of points must be considered and addressed or followed when the patient is discharged from acute therapy: These include a detailed medical history to identify suspected possible triggers, documentation of the acute therapy, recommendations for further allergological assessment and the prescription of an emergency self-help kit including an adrenaline auto-injector - with information and practice on how to use it, including a written emergency plan. Recommendations for avoiding highly suspected triggers and references to patient organizations are also helpful. This article is intended to provide a current overview of discharge management after successful acute treatment of anaphylaxis. Remember: "After anaphylaxis also potentially means before the next anaphylaxis".
