摘要
The first checklist of the silica scale-bearing golden-brown algae, or chrysophytes, (Chrysophyceae: Paraphysomonadales, Chromulinales, Synurales) from Russia was compiled more than twenty years ago and contained 63 taxa. This article is an updated version of this checklist. The number of recorded taxa has increased to 201 including 25 taxa of the genus Paraphysomonas, 14 taxa of the genus Lepidochromonas, 9 taxa of the genus Chrysosphaerella, 17 taxa of the genus Spiniferomonas, 99 taxa of the genus Mallomonas, 35 taxa of the genus Synura and one species each of the genera Polylepidomonas and Neotessella. Five nomenclatural novelties are proposed: Chrysosphaerella grandibasa (Balonov) Kapustin, comb. et stat. nov., Spiniferomonas cuspidata (Balonov) Kapustin, comb. et stat. nov., Mallomonas balonovii (Voloshko) Kapustin, comb. et stat. nov., M. hualvensis (Asmund, Cronberg & D & uuml;rrschmidt) Kapustin, comb. et stat. nov. and Synura taymyrensis (Kristiansen) Kapustin, comb. et stat. nov. Mallomonas vannigera var. parallelicosta is regarded as a synonym of M. vannigera var. vannigera.
