摘要
Digital literacy involves using websites and email to get health information, like test results from doctors. During COVID-19, many people used phones and email to see their test results. We studied COVID-19 testing in areas with more Latinos like the Canal District and Planada, California. We wanted to see how well people and health workers used digital tools for COVID-19 testing. Younger people, those in rural areas, and people who gave an email got their results online more often. People who were younger, spoke English, from rural areas, and women were the most likely to give their email to get results. People in rural areas and older adults also took longer to get their test results. Out of 42 health workers, 68% had trouble using technology during testing. These workers were mostly older and from rural areas. Rural health workers were also less likely to improve their digital skills after training.
