摘要
Avalanche transistors are widely used in Marx circuits to generate high-voltage pulses with a high pulse-repetition-rate. Since their power capacity is limited, for high-power ultra-wideband radiation systems based on solid-state pulsers, it is necessary to synthesis multiple modules simultaneously to enhance the total power. In this paper, a kind of high-rE(p) and high pulse-repetition-rate ultra-wideband radiation system is designed and developed based on space synthesis method. The system has 12 radiation modules, while each module consists of a solid-state pulser and a 2x2 combined antenna. The rE(p) of the system is 25 kV measured at 12 m, and the maximum PRF of the system is 100 kHz. Its polarization direction could be adjusted by a built-in motor.
