摘要
Potatoes are a staple food in many diets globally, and their impact on cardiometabolic health has been a subject of ongoing discussion. This systematic review and meta-analysis provides an updated comprehensive understanding of the relationship between total and fried and nonfried potato intake and the risk of overweight/obesity, hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. The research results indicate that potato intake may have an adverse impact on cardiometabolic health.
