摘要
Single-pixel imaging is an alternative approach to achieving high-throughput and high-resolution THz imaging, but the Terahertz (THz) spatial light modulator (SLM) as the core component is still trapped in a trade-off between modulation depth and modulation rate. Here, a THz SLM with low optical illumination composed of a conjugated polymer-silicon hybrid structure has been proposed, where the organic/inorganic interface causes photo-generated carrier accumulation and the thickness of the semiconductor can affect the lifetime of non-equilibrium carriers. A THz single-pixel near-field imaging system was proposed to perform a video-rate imaging (16 x 16 pixels at 25 frames-per-second) without compressed sensing.
