摘要
This article presents a theoretical proposal on the so-called 'crisis novel', i.e. those narrative manifestations that emerged in the Spanish literary scene after the 2008 crisis. The aim is not to establish a canonical proposal, but rather to present a reading of this narrative subgenre based on the concept of 'crisis' applied to the configuration of the character of the precarious and urban space. To this end, the concepts of 'non-place', 'subaltern subject' and 'disappearance of the outside' will be used as points of reference. Likewise, the novels that emerged as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, understood as a rupture in the subgenre itself, will be included in the corpus of works treated.
