摘要
Hypermonethers A (1) and B (2), two highly oxidized monoprenylated diphenyl ethers, were isolated from the petroleum ether extract of Hypericum monogynum. Their structures were elucidated by the comprehensive spectroscopic analyses and optical rotation (OR) calculation. Compounds 1 and 2 represent the first examples of diphenyl ethers with a prenyl side chain. Our bioassays have revealed that hypermonether B (HPB, 2) displayed significant inhibitory effect on the osteogenic differentiation of human valvular interstitial cells, highlighting its potential as a preventive agent against the progression of human calcific aortic valve disease (CAVD).
