摘要
Experiential Avoidance (EE) is a behavioral pattern in which a person is unwilling to come into contact with private experiences, leading them to try to modify the events that evoke these experiences. There are findings suggesting that the digital task & Aacute;mselin is effective in measuring EE. The purpose of this work was to confirm these findings and determine whether & Aacute;mselin is able to discriminate between participants with high and low levels of anxiety, as measured by the Beck Anxiety Inventory (IAB) score. To achieve this, the IAB, the Acceptance and Action Questionnaire-II, and & Aacute;mselin were administered to 104 adults. The results revealed an absence of correlations between & Aacute;mselin's variables and the questionnaire scores, and no discrimination between the performances of participants with high and low anxiety. The exception to these findings was the report of frustration. Despite this, other results suggest that & Aacute;mselin exposes participants to a frustrating situation. Based on this, it is recommended to limit the use of this task to the study of frustration, excluding Experiential Avoidance.
