摘要
The ways in which journalism and social media relate to each other have become increasingly complex. In this context, one phenomenon stands out that has fostered the participation of users in public debate: the live streaming of news content by peripheral actors on Twitch. The aim of this research is to analyse through semi-structured interviews and content analysis the language, format and structure of four Twitch streamers and to measure the quality, similarities and differences based on the involvement of professional journalists. The Twitch accounts analysed show differences in form and approach between journalists and peripheral actors. However, it is possible to identify a notable degree of continuity between both of them. Likewise, the platform's own characteristics, as well as its codes and languages, participation and give it a more informal character, and may sometimes not meet traditional quality standards in news reporting.
