摘要
Wireless power transfer/transmission (WPT) emerges as a groundbreaking technology with significant potential to revolutionize the transfer and utilization of electrical energy. By eliminating the need for physical wiring and cables, it introduces a new level of convenience and adaptability across various applications. The technology is particularly transmitter for its potential to simplify the infrastructure required for charging and powering devices, from small consumer electronics to large-scale applications like Electric Vehicle (EV) charging. The analysis of the critical factors, such as inner radius, the total coil rolls, material, physical shape of coils, shielding and misalignment, influencing the performance of WPT systems are investigated here. For the analysis, the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) method is employed, utilizing HFSS software to model and simulate the behavior of these systems under varying conditions. The findings determines that circular-shaped coils are particularly effective for WPT, offering advantages notably in terms of efficiency and design simplicity. A significant application highlighted here is the use of WPT systems for charging electric vehicles, demonstrating the practical implications of the research in real-world scenarios in terms of sustainable and efficient energy solutions.
