摘要：
Modern societies are multicultural and diverse in many ways. Among numerous other facets, they are characterised by linguistic and cultural diversity. In health care, encounters, exchange and understanding between people of different cultural backgrounds are part of everyday life and require intercultural competence. The aim of this article is to shed more light on this ability as well as on important concepts related to interculturality.
