摘要:
A variety of research exists regarding the needs of students with disabilities in PK-12 public and private education settings. Often, the voices of those participating in the research are absent. This leaves students with disabilities acted upon rather than being centered to enact change in their learning conditions. The purpose of this blended-genres inquiry was to reflexively examine the author's engagement with two non-speaking students with autism and cognitive needs within research processes. Recommendations for researchers and future research are discussed.
