摘要
Developments in wireless healthcare devices have revolutionized medical monitoring and diagnostics. This preview will focus on the key role of electromagnetic waves in transmitting data inside the human body, improving medical practices. In this paper, we developed a theoretical model by using human tissues properties to analyze the propagation of an electromagnetic wave in complex medium. More specifically, human body communication model are studied at different frequencies (1.8 GHz and 26 GHz) using numerical method performed with the method of moments (MoM). The theoretical results were confirmed by experimental measurements carried out on a bovine tissue sample at a frequency of 1.8 GHz, which highlighted the analogy of the electromagnetic energy absorption by different types of human body tissue. Based on the validity of the theoretical and experimental results, we extended our study to explore the effect of frequency and/or age on the SARificific absorption rate (SAR) and temperature. At high frequencies, the transmission of the power becomes negligible inside the body, but with significant absorption and temperature rise in the dermal layer of the skin. The founded results sight that the age is also a critical factor in the absorption of electromagnetic energy.
