摘要
Sustainability, covering the economic, environmental and social pillars, is present in the development of each and every segment. The present work aims to analyze tourism management, and its sustainability focused on the historical and cultural heritage of the city of Pelotas, State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. As for the methodology used, it is classified as descriptive exploratory and, in relation to the problem, it is qualitative. As a result of this research, it is concluded that although there is a Municipal Tourism Plan and the 2024 Pelotas Tourism Statistical Report that addresses some topics on social sustainability, there is no specific planning regarding sustainability focused on the three pillars economic, social and environment and not even governance adopting ESG Practices.
