摘要
The availability of efficient and user-friendly software tools for the simulation of electrical power systems is a requirement in great demand by companies involved in the electrical industry. In particular, these simulation tools are very useful for developers of power transmission and distribution lines projects, grid operators and cable manufacturers. In this article the development of a digital twin (DT) for the determination in a dynamic mode of the induced currents in insulated cable systems is presented. The starting point of the DT is based on the previous development of a virtual experiment (VE) implemented in the software SPACS. This software is mainly used for the sheath bonding design of cable systems. The theoretical principles of the VE along with the steps to be applied for its evolution to a DT are described in detail in this article.
