摘要
The purpose of this paper is to examine the notion of postmodernity as a cultural and scientific tempo in contrast to the linear conception of time. It explores both the reactionary and deconstructive perspectives, as well as the paradoxes of postmodernity in areas such as epistemology, subjectivity, ethics, history, and diversity. The design takes the form of a critical analysis of relevant philosophical, sociological, and political texts that address postmodernity, its implications, and its aporias in various aspects of contemporary society. Among the findings, a dichotomy is identified between a reactionary postmodernity, which denies modernity, and a postmodernity of deconstruction, which questions enlightened rationality. Key paradoxes, such as globality versus particularity and subjectivity versus intersubjectivity, are highlighted. The displacement of the scientific epistemological model toward the construction of references through language is discussed, as well as the need to adopt a genealogical view of history and an intersubjective ethics. It is concluded that postmodernity challenges linear narratives of human progress and promotes a more pluralistic and critical view of reality. The importance of living reflectively with the inherent paradoxes of this era is underscored, recognizing both its achievements and the dead ends it has led to. This study calls for a more modest and reflective attitude toward the complexity and heterogeneity of contemporary cultural experiences, avoiding absolute commitments to ideological positions.
