Evaluating the safety of in situ concrete structures under freeze-thaw (F-T) damage presents significant challenges. Existing methods require large coring samples, which are unsuitable for ongoing monitoring. This study investigates a minimally invasive drilling powder technique to assess the F-T resistance of concrete with varying properties. We evaluated the durability factor and powder porosity before and after F-T exposure. The results indicate that the drilling powder method effectively assesses the safety of concrete under F-T damage using threshold powder porosity. In conclusion, this technique offers a promising approach for the F-T damage assessment with minimal structural impact.
