摘要
This study aimed to understand how Continuing Teacher Education (CTE) courses, focused on teaching of natural sciences in the early years, have been carried out and presented in national Theses and Dissertations between 2010 and 2022. It is a quali-quantitative research, built from 22 dissertations and 18 theses. In order to perform the search, the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of the Coordination of Superior Level Staff Improvement (CAPES) was chosen through three descriptors. 3589 results were found, however, only 40 met the objective of the study. Scientometrics was the analysis used based on an analytical matrix. In general, it can be observed that the training courses were offered by public universities carried out during the studies of graduate students. In 29 courses, the study scenario was at school and, in 68% of the total of courses, the professors were heard and participated in the choice, predominating training courses with characteristics of the practical-reflective model. Finally, it was observed that only in five courses there was continuity through counseling and/or other courses offered to in-service teachers. In this way, based on the data listed here, we seek to contribute through reflection and the advancement of CTE courses that will be offered in the future based on the progress of the school educational processes of this target audience.
