摘要
In this paper, a Ka- band microstrip millimeter-wave filter antenna which is fed by ridge gap waveguide is presented. By etching two pairs of slots with different lengths and spacing on the two radiating edges of the antenna, two radiating zeros are obtained at the upper and lower edges of the operating band. The ground of the antenna is equipped with a pair of U-shaped slots to increase the depth of the radiation zero. In addition, periodic mushroom electromagnetic band gap structures are set up on both sides of microstrip feeding line to construct a ridge gap waveguide to reduce energy leakage during transmission. The simulation results show that the antenna has a gain range of 7.1dBi in the operating band, with stable in-band gain and good out-of-band suppression.
