INTERDISCIPLINARY ASPECTS OF COLLECTIVE REDRESS: ECONOMIC, SOCIAL, AND POLITICAL DIMENSIONS OF THE ACTION OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE IN COLLECTIVE PROCEDURES

This article revisits the theme of collective redress to analyze its interdisciplinary aspects and its economic, social and political dimensions from the perspective of the Attorney General's Office in collective procedures. The preparation of this article was based on the content of classes taught by the author in Postgraduate courses at the Roberto Bernardes Barroso Institute of Education (IERBB). Incentives, costs, quantification techniques, aggregation mechanisms, conflicts of interest, institutional stances and public policy are among the themes discussed in the article.
