New personalized Therapy Options for advanced Pancreatic Cancer

Ductal Adenocarcinomas of the Pancreas have a poor Prognosis with a median Survival Time of less than 12 Months. The Therapeutic Options are limited beyond the established First-line Chemotherapies. A recent prospective Study has shown that Testing individual Treatment Options using so-called Organoids could be a promising Strategy in terms of personalized Medicine.
